ContiTrade is the umbrella organization for the entire tire retail business of the Continental Tire Division in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) with more than 2,000 outlets and over 6,000 employees. All three of the above managers have held a variety of sales and marketing management positions with Continental for more than 20 years. Marth had been responsible for management of Continental’s tire retail subsidiary Vergölst since 2010, prior to which he held management positions including Head of Regional Sales Passenger Tire Replacement Business Germany and at the globally active Two-Wheel Tires Business Unit. Fahrenbach was appointed Head of Sales for the Central and Eastern Europe region in 2008. Before that, for several years he was responsible for the fields of Marketing Passenger Tire Replacement Business EMEA and Sales Replacement Business Germany.
Under the ContiTrade banner, the leading international tire manufacturer brings together its entire operationally managed retail activities including the company owned retail subsidiaries and franchise partners in more than 15 countries. In 2006 the premium “BestDrive” brand was added to the ContiTrade portfolio. Vergölst is the wholly-owned tire retail subsidiary of Continental in Germany with some 450 branches and partner outlets nationwide.
