Continental Reifen Deutschland GmbH processes your data within the context of the consent granted and in compliance with respective data protection regulations.


The personal data, relating to your tires, collected by Continental Reifen Deutschland GmbH are processed for marketing purposes by email (and phone), especially for sending you your tires scan results as well as promotional and commercial information of Continental group (e.g. news on products, news on services and promotional offers), including, but not limited, in relation with your tires scan results. Insofar as this necessary for the performance of such purposes, your personal data may be passed on to the companies affiliated with Continental Reifen Deutschland GmbH as stipulated in the Binding Corporate Rules, and mainly to the entity Continental France SNC (RCS 342 821 220) if you are a French client.

If permitted and/or prescribed by law, the data may be evaluated for reporting purposes (e.g. statistics). Your data will be collected, processed and used solely in compliance with the applicable data protection regulations (e.g. your consent). In accordance with the statutory provisions, all your data is treated as strictly confidential.

Collection, processing and retention of data

Continental Reifen Deutschland GmbH stores your personal data if consent for this has been provided. Your data is stored and/or used solely for marketing purposes as aforementioned described. Your only personal data, that is stored, is tires scan results and data provided by you, such as:

- Mandatory: Anonymous code given by Continental Reifen Deutschland GmbH, Email address, City and Country;
- Optional: First name, Last name, Phone number and Age.

Your personal data is stored only during three (3) years from the last contact with you. After this period, your data is erased by Continental Reifen Deutschland GmbH, provided that this erasure does not conflict with any statutory duties to retain records.
