Hanover/Korbach, April 13, 2016. The ContiTrack racing tire by Continental, which is fresh off the production line, was on top form once again during its second racing turn. At the end of the second run at the 41st German Endurance Cup, it was the Viessmann Bretter Racing Team on the MV Agusta F3 800 who was crowned the victor in class 2 in Oschersleben. In the overall rankings of all 42 teams, the "three musketeers from Bottendorf" advanced all the way up to sixth place.
Out on the extremely challenging track at the Motor Sport Arena Oschersleben, where the international endurance championships are also held, the three Continental starters with their ContiTrack slick tires had complete control over the competition. Thanks to a tight team performance in the pits, on the wrench, and on the throttle grip, drivers René Raub, Danijel Peric, and Tim Stadtmüller brought home the victory in the class for bikes up to 1,000cc.
"We pushed the tires even harder than at the first race in Hockenheim. The ContiTrack gave us great feedback even in the limit range," – the driver team again appeared highly impressed with the brand-new racing tire and track winner on the day.
The next rounds of the German Endurance Cup take place on May 15/16 in Most, on June 4/5 in Assen, and on July 2/3 at the Sachsenring. The sixth round including the final kicks off on September 17/18 in Oschersleben.
