Hanover / Korbach, July 23, 2021. After a complex fine-tune, Continental is sending the front tires of the ContiRoadAttack 3 CR back to the track. This means that fans of classic racing motorcycles now have even more grip for faster lap times. Thanks to their road approval, the durable racing tires are also a real alternative to standard tires for many young timers who are on 18-inch rims at the front and rear.
The new, softer racing compound provides even more grip in dry conditions and delivers faster lap times and high mileage, especially in classic races. The proven profile cut remained unchanged and still shows a remarkable wet performance. Continental's typical GripLimitFeedback technology has also been retained to ensure that the limit is always predictable.
From calendar week 27, the front tire is available with the compound update in the dimension 100/90 R 18 M / C 56 V TL. From the 30th calendar week in the version 110/80 ZR 18 M / C (58W) TL. The matching 18-inch model for the rear wheel is available in three versions from 110 to 150 millimeters: 110/80 R 18 MC 58 V TL, 130/80 R 80 18 M / C 66 V TL and 150/65 R 18 M / C 69 H TL.
In addition to classic racing motorcycles, many young timers also benefit from the new compound, starting with five models of the BMW two-valve boxer R 65 to R 100, to Ducati 1000 Replica / S2, Laverda 1000 SFC and Yamaha XJ 750/900. Triumph Thruxton and Street Twin with 18-inch wheels can also be fitted with the ContiRoadAttack 3 CR.
