AFL

Continental Tyres is in our fifth year of partnership with the AFL – Australia’s pre-eminent professional competition of Australian Rules Football.

Since its inception in 1896 as the formerly named VFL (Victorian Football League), the AFL has had a rich history in Australian culture and lifestyle. Boasting the title as Australia’s #1 sport based collectively on participation, viewership and in-stadium attendance.

Continental’s history is just a long (slightly longer in fact, since 1871) and just as rich. As a Major Partner of the AFL and Official Tyre Partner of the AFL, Continental has a suite of assets across the AFL eco-system including partnership rights, signage, digital advertising across the AFL’s website and app, including the Continental Tyres Ladder and the official naming rights partner of the Continental Tyres AFL Trade Period.
