A Tyre Lifetime Warranty means that your tire is covered for its entire usable life against manufacturing defects. If the tire becomes unserviceable due to a defect in materials or workmanship, we will replace it according to the warranty terms. Continental recommends that tyres that are over 10 years from manufacturing date should be replaced with new tyres.

2. Which brands are eligible for Tyre Lifetime Warranty?

The Lifetime Warranty applies to:

• Continental
• General Tire
• Viking

It does not apply to our Dunlop brands.

3. Why is Tyre Lifetime Warranty not offered on Dunlop brands?

As Dunlop brand tires in Malaysia are produced in Alor Setar plant, we will still support Dunlop brand tire produced by us with our 5+5 manufacturer warranty.

4. What does the Tyre Lifetime Warranty cover?

• Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.
• Coverage lasts for the tire’s usable tread life (until tread depth reaches legal minimum 1.6mm).

5. What is not covered under Tyre Lifetime Warranty?

• Normal wear and tear.
• Damage from road hazards (e.g., nails, potholes).
• Improper use, installation, or maintenance.
• Tires used for racing or commercial purposes.

6. How do I claim the Lifetime Warranty?

• Visit any authorized dealer or service centre.
• Provide proof of manufacturing defects and tire details.
• Our team will inspect the tire and process the claim if eligible.

7. Does Lifetime Warranty mean free replacement anytime?

No. The warranty covers manufacturing defects only. If the tire is worn out or damaged due to external factors, it will not be replaced under this warranty.

8. Is registration required for Tyre Lifetime Warranty?

No. the Tyre Lifetime Warranty is automatically activated upon the point of purchase.

9. Will this affect the price of the tires?

No. The price of the tires will remains the same.

10. Can I transfer the Tyre Lifetime Warranty if I sell my car?

Yes. The warranty is transferable, regardless to vehicle ownership.
