Continental Introduces ContiTread HDR 5 for Regional Fleets
Fort Mill, S.C., May 15, 2026, — Continental Tire is expanding its retread lineup with the launch of the ContiTread HDR 5, a durable regional retread designed to help fleets achieve confident handling, reliable traction, and long service life on regional routes.
Designed for regional applications, the ContiTread HDR 5 features a five‑rib tread pattern that delivers predictable control, stability, and uniform wear for routes with frequent stops, turns, and varying road conditions. Its open shoulder design enhances traction across a range of surfaces and weather conditions, providing dependable real‑world performance without sacrificing durability or mileage.
Built with durability and performance balance in mind, the ContiTread HDR 5 delivers reliable traction without sacrificing mileage, helping fleets get more value from each retread cycle.
