General Freight (Long Haul)
- Fleets, trucks, and drivers responsible for hauling general freight safely over great distances at higher speeds
- Includes Over-the-Road truck load carriers, Less Than Load (LTL), and Specialized Carriers
- Tires subject to feather edge wear, cupping, excessive deflection, alternating drive tire lug wear, and tramline wear
Hazard Material Haulers
- Fleets that engage in the transportation of hazardous materials in regional haul, typically on primary roads
- Fleets require tires with low heat, good traction, 4- or 5-rib patterns with even wear
- Tires subject to feather edge wear, cupping, heel/toe wear, shoulder pad separation, bead tears, rim damage, and excessive deflection
Agricultural Transport
- Fleets and trucks responsible for hauling any agricultural commodity, non-processed food, feed, fiber, or livestock
- Common trucks in this vocation include livestock carriers, large dumps, semis, and fertilizer tanks
- Maximizing uptime is critical for remaining profitable
- Tires exposed to a medium degree of aggressive surfaces and subject to sidewall abrasion, tread chunks and separations, and shoulder pad separations
