At the IAA Transportation 2024, we presented three new truck and bus tires. Our focus is on efficient, sustainable tire solutions optimized for electric vehicles.
Increasingly efficient and using more and more renewable and recycled materials
OEMs and fleets are under pressure to reduce operating costs while increasing the efficiency of their vehicles. In addition, they must meet the increasing requirements and regulations for sustainability.
With our products and solutions, we offer an effective lever to master these challenges. Dr. Holger Lange, Head of Research and Development for Truck and Bus Tires and Leo Kolodziej, Head of the Original Equipment Business for Truck Tires in the EMEA region, explain the technological advancements in our tires and the benefits they offer our customers.

Conti Efficient Pro 5 HS 5
- Low rolling resistance: 10 percent lower than its predecessor within Class A of the EU Tire label
- Fuel- and energy-saving
- High mileage: five percent higher than its predecessor
- EU taxonomy-compatible due to particularly quiet external rolling noise
- Especially designed for electric vehicles
- Can be equipped with a ContiConnect sensor for digital tire management
Conti Urban NXT
A contribution to reducing the environmental impact of urban transport
- With 59 percent renewable, recycled, and mass balance certified materials
- 25 percent lower rolling resistance compared to its predecessor
- 15 percent higher mileage compared to its predecessor
- EU taxonomy-compatible due to very quiet rolling noise
- Especially designed for electric vehicles
- Can be equipped with a sensor for our ContiConnect digital tire management system
Conti EcoPlus HT3+
Our specialist for trailers with electrified drive axle
- Load capacity increased by up to 500 kilograms per axle
- Particularly balanced performance in terms of traction, rolling resistance and load capacity
- Grip and mileage have been optimized for high safety in all weather conditions
- Developed in cooperation with Trailer Dynamics, manufacturer of e-trailers
