ContiConnect is a digital tire management platform featuring field-proven tire monitoring services such as continuous tire pressure and temperature measurement. With state-of-the-art tire sensors and latest software upgrades, it enables our fleet customers to digitally capture and monitor the mileage, tread depth and condition of all tires in the fleet.

ContiConnect Live provides tire data monitoring of multiple vehicles in real-time, regardless of their location, while ContiConnect Yard is designed to monitor tire data for vehicles that return to dedicated checkpoints on a regular basis. The tire sensor is mounted onto the inner liner of a tire in order to collect and transmit data. The sensor can either be retro-fitted or factory-fitted onto a tire.

The Valve Cap sensor is mounted directly to the valve stem of the wheel in order to collect and transmit data. Continental recommends the Valve Cap is not mounted on a valve stem extension or attachment, or you may risk damage to the sensor.

Web Portal
The ContiConnect web portal is the interface where you can proactively monitor the tire conditions on all of your vehicles. The web portal is a browser-based application that can be accessed from any type of device.

If you choose ContiConnect Yard, the yard reader station is the connectivity component used that receives the data from the tire sensors within a yard. The yard reader station is installed at the fleet's frequent touch points, like a washing bay, gas station, or other checkpoints within the yard. It reads the data off the tire sensors and transmits it via cellular connection to the backend where it is analyzed and interpreted.

Receiver

The handheld tool is needed for the initialization of ContiConnect. This component is used to assign each tire sensor to the respective wheel position of the vehicle. It connects wirelessly to the tire sensors. Further, you can also use the hand-held tool to import tire data to the web portal without a yard reader station.
